Built in the summer of 1980-81, Aardvark has a warm, cosy atmosphere. It is located in one of the highest positions on the mountain, with the ‘Big D’ chairlift and ‘Night Skiing’ (Sat & Wed) right outside the front door.
Inside the lodge you have an open fireplace and great views of the surrounding countryside. Aardvark’s aim is to provide cheap and happy skiing for both members and friends, and above all make sure everyone has a good time.

UPDATE THU 11 JULY – BOOKINGS SUSPENDED
As we still await clarity from authorities re COVID-19 communal lodge operating restrictions/guidlines, we have SUSPENDED season 2020 bookings for the time being. Bookings already in our system still exist – at this point in time the Aardvark committee has simply decided to not take any further bookings until we can obtain clear information on capacity restrictions and directives which may impact on our ability to fulfil those bookings.

Rooms
- 31 beds in 8 bedrooms on 3 levels.
- A range of bed configurations to meet a range of needs: 5 rooms have doubles and singles, 2 have all singles and one just a double bed.
- Doonas and pillows provided. Please bring own sheets (min 2), pillowslips and towels or you can hire for a small fee, but please note sleeping bags are NOT permitted.

Bathrooms
There are separate Male and Female facilities as well as a new “family” bathroom with Bath, Shower, Hand basin and Toilet available for private use by all.

- Ski-in Ski-out makes it easy to hit the slopes each morning, take strategic rest-breaks, and get back home at the end of the day.
- This is a great location for skiing families. Excellent access to the Big D slopes makes supervising children very easy.

On-site managers
Our managers are in residence all through the snow season and will provide all assistance to help you enjoy your stay in true Aardvark Alpine Club style.
Living spaces
Two living spaces are provided for your enjoyment and relaxation.
- The main living area features comfy arm chairs and a fabulous open fire.
- A second mezzanine area is also available. This area is often used for quiet reading area, a place for children to get together, or an area for small groups and/or games.
Kitchen facilities
Communal facility includes – a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer, 2 large ovens and multiple gas burners, fridge and pantry storage for each room. All crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, tea, coffee and basic condiments provided.

Convivial community atmosphere to enjoy your meals with your ski party and meet new friends.
